Falaises et criques

A half days walk that explores some of the quieter cliffs of West Cornwall, secluded coves and views of off-shore islands frequented by Atlantic Grey seals from the South West Coast path National Trail.

This walk takes you along cliffs carpeted with thrift, kidney vetch and the more unusual plants such as Dyer’s greenweed along paths busy with Bloody Nosed Beetles and other fascinating insects. Wheatear and pipits are busy on the coastal grassland whilst offshore passing gannets and shearwaters ride the wind and waves.

We will have the chance to sit and watch seals, maybe see the worlds fastest creature, have good views of sea birds including fulmars, gannets, shags and cormorants and kittiwakes and explore secret lanes lined with wild flower rich, Cornish hedges.

Easy walking with some rocky paths and one or two short climbs.
